Kuala Sungai Pinang @ Balik Pulau 浮罗山背双溪槟榔河口

浮罗山背 的双溪槟榔河口是一个传统的渔村，拥有传统的马来和华人的鱼村屋子。漫步或骑自行车在这传统鱼村周围走动，你将欣赏到当地的“鱼村甘榜”生活的方式，你也可以在傍晚时分在当地的鱼市场买到新鲜的海鲜。当地大多数的居民以捕鱼谋生。由于靠近浮罗山背以及在槟岛的其他部分的房屋发展迅速的压力下，这个鱼村的房屋发展工程也正迅速驱动着.

Kuala Sungai Pinang is a traditional fishing village at Balik Pulau district. It is mxing of traditional Malay and Chinese village houses. Walk around or cycling around at the village, you will admire the local ways of “Kampung” life and you can buy the fresh seafood from the local fish market in the evening. Most of its inhabitants make a living from fishing. Due to their proximity to Balik Pulau and the pressures of the rapid housing development in the rest of Penang island, this rural village is now experiencing with housing development too.

Kuala Sungai Pinang are with beautiful scenery, with traditional living style of fishermen and kampung folks. In the evening time, you will see the return of the fishiing boats from the sea after the whole-day's catch. It is really a peaceful scenery where you can relax enjoy the time over there.

双溪槟榔河口有着美丽的渔村风光以及渔民和甘榜居民的传统生活方式。在晚上的时候，你会看到忙碌了一天的渔船从海上返回，这实在是一个宁静的风景，在那里你可以真正的放松尽情的享受悠闲生活。

Getting there 如何到达

Heading toward Kuala Sungai Pinang from Balik Pulau town, you will passing by Jalan Sungai Pinang. Jalan Sungai Pinang leads out of Balik pulau, and it is one of the main roads in Balik Pulau. You will pass by the District Office (Pejabat Daerah dan Tanah) of Balik Pulau . You should not confused with Jalan Sungai Pinang in Georgetown.



从浮罗山背小镇往双溪槟榔河口的方向，你会路过双溪槟榔大路 （Jalan Sungai Pinang）。Jalan Sungai Pinang是浮罗山背的主要道路之一。您将经过民政事务处（Pejabat Daerah）（District Office）。

There are number of traditional coffee shops in the villiage.

 

You may enjoy a local hot coffee "Kopi-O" and sitting on the corner of coffee shop, see the kampung folks walk around. The local good coffee at a price of 70 sens, which you surely cannot get it in other places of Penang.

Balik Pulau Roundabout Monument 浮罗山背交通圈纪念碑

Balik Pulau Roundabout is the landmark of Balik Pulau town. Balik Pulau Roundabout is situated where the three main roads of the town converge. The three main roads are (i) Jalan Besar, also known as Balik Pulau Main Road, which is the Balik Pulau old town situated; (ii) Jalan Sungai Pinang, which leads off on to the northwest direction and from this road, will be able to go to Teluk Bahang and Batu Ferringhi; (iii) Jalan Balik Pulau, going south towards the village Balik Pulau, Bukit Genting and eventually towards Teluk Kumbar and Bayan Lepas.

在“浮罗山背” 的小镇有个富有历史性的地标 -交通圈纪念碑。这个交通圈纪念碑建立在小镇的三条主要道路交汇处。三个主要的道路是 (i) JalanBesar，也称为 “主要道路”Main Ro阿d ，也是浮罗山背小镇的所在处 ；(ii) Jalan Sungai Pinang  双溪槟榔路， 也是浮罗山背通往西北方向的主要道路，将能够通往 Teluk Bahang  和 Batu Ferringhi ；(iii) Jalan Balik Pulau ，也是往南走的方向，能到达 Kampung Balik  Pulau ，武吉云顶 Bukit Genting 和 Teluk  Kumbar (公巴小镇) 。

 

在交通圈处的中央建立了一座纪念碑。这纪念碑是由当时的客家富商辜尚達 (1833年 — — 1908) 于 1882 年所建立的。他建了这个纪念碑来纪念Sir Frederick Weld 爵士 (Governor of Malacca) （马六甲总督）的到访。纪念碑也是一个喷泉，里面装有两个狮头水龙头的喷泉。当地村民们认为，只要喷泉的水连绵不绝的流着，村里就会永远的蓬勃发展。最初的建设，水是来自山上的水源，其流量也表示地面的水位。这个喷泉已经过当地政府重修，以确保这个喷泉的运作情况良好。

There is a monument in the middle of the roundabout.  The monument was erected by a rich Hakka merchant Koh Seang Tatt (1833 – 1908) in the year of 1882. He built a monument at the roundabout to commensurate the visit of Sir Frederick Weld (Governor of Malacca) to Balik Pulau township. The monument is a fountain, with two lion-head faucets at the base of the fountain.  The villagers believed that as long as the water from the fountain, the village will prosper. Originally, the water was from the spring from the hill, its flow may indicated the level of ground water. This fountain has been renovated by district office to ensure the functioning of this fountain.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pulau Betong Beach @ Balik Pulau

Pulau Betong Beach “勿洞岛海滩”位于槟城的西南部。它位于靠近在 Kampung Pasir Panjang“甘榜巴西班让”。它是个偏僻的海滩，很少人来到这里。那里也没有公共交通工具到达这个海滩。你需要通过小丘陵的路才能够到达这里。它是一个属于比较小，但真正美丽的海滩。海水很干净和很适合游泳。这是个被主要旅客遗忘的美丽海滩。


Pulau Betong Beach is at the south western part of Penang. It is located near at the Kampung Pasir Panjang. It is remote and there is no public transport reaches the beach. To reach the beach, you need to go through a small and hilly road and it is a truly beautiful and hardly touched area. The beach is small and really clean and good for swimming . It is a forgetten beach where it is seldom visited by the mainstream tourists.
